New Delhi, Feb 21 (IANS) It was a warm, sunny day in the capital Thursday as the maximum temperature settled two notches above average at 26.9 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast rains Friday.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Friday). Parts of the city may get light rains towards the evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 25 and 12 degrees Celsius.
Thursday saw clear and sunny skies and the minimum temperature settled at 12.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above what is the average for this time of the season.
Wednesday's maximum and minimum temperatures settled a notch below average at 23.5 and 10.1 degrees Celsius, respectively.
