Surf Excel has launched the ‘Fulfill a wish’ campaign to make sure that this Christmas, it's not only the kids from affluent families that get gifts.
In a bid to extend the festival spirit to the under privileged kids as well, the brand has tied up with NGOs like GuideStar India and International Justice Mission.
Phase one of the campaign involved understanding the needs of these underprivileged kids. GuideStar India network of over 3000 NGOs across India proved to be a huge asset in this mission. The wishes slowly started flowing in and varied from anything between school bags, pencil boxes to meeting Salman Khan.
Phase two started around Children's Day. A dedicated application was created on their Facebook page to showcase these wishes. All people had to do was donate whatever they could to the nearest NGO in their vicinity.
Phase three is set to take place somewhere around Christmas week. The brand intends to showcase all the wishes which will be published through videos and photographs.
