Chasng 122 for victory, Sydney reached the winning score of 124 runs in 12.3 overs.
Man-of-the-match Lumb remained the top scorer for Sydney and remained not out on 82 runs off 42 balls. He hit eight boundaries and five sixes in the crucial knock he played in the final clash.
Haddin remained unbeaten on 37 runs off 33 balls. He hit four boundaries and a six in the innings.
Lions bowlers failed to failed to make a breakthrough in the match.
Earlier, riding on Jean Symes crucial knock of 51 runs, Lions were 121 all out in 20 overs.
Lions had the worst possible start in the match and lost four wickets with nine runs on the scoreboard.
Symes knock of 51 runs helped Lions to recover from the initial blow and post 121 runs on the scoreboard at the end of 20 overs.
Symes got support from Thami Tsolekile (20) and Dwaine Pretorius (21).
Nathan McCullum and Josh Hazlewood scalped three wickets each for Sydney.
