Chasing a reduced total of 152 runs in 41 overs under the Duckworth-Lewis (D/L) method, Sri Lanka reached the winning score in just 24.1 overs.
Moreover, Sri Lanka also grabbed bonus points for winning the match with 101 balls remaining.
Skipper Mahela Jayawardene played a crucial knock of 61 runs from just 67 deliveries and T Dilshan scored 45 runs to help the visitors reach the winning score quite easily.
Jayawarde remained not out till the end of the Sri Lankan innings.
Meanwhile, former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara touched 10,000 ODI runs mark on Friday during his brief innings of 30 runs. He hit four boundaries and a six in the match before Lee picked up his wicket.
Sangakkara became the third Sri Lankan batsman to reach the elite club of cricketers who have scored more than 10,000 runs in One Day International .
