TNPSC Combined Engineering Services Examination 2012-13

TNPSC is inviting application through online mode for direct recruitment for the various kinds of post by combined engineering services examination in the year of 2013.

Name & no of posts 

TNPSC will recruit 222 candidates for the post of assistant engineer in water resource department, assistant engineer in building organization, assistant engineer (Electrical), assistant engineer in the rural development and panchayat raj department, assistant inspector of factories, junior electrical inspector & junior assistant director of boiler.

Minimum age and educational qualification

The age limit for SC/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BCM and DW of all caste candidates must have 18 years completed as on 01.07.2012 and no maximum age limit. For other candidates the age limit should be between 18 years to 30 years.

The educational qualification for the eligible candidates must be completed a engineering degree for the corresponding posts.

Selection procedure

The selection procedure will be based on the two successive stages. i.e.,
(i) Main examination in the computed based test format
(ii) Oral test

Mode of submitting application form

Candidates should apply through online only by TNPSC’s website or in Candidates are required to pay Rs. 175/- (Rupees one hundred and seventy five only) for the examination and application fees. Candidates claiming exemption from the examination fees have to pay Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) for application fees.

Candidates can choose either online or offline mode of payment. The offline payment should be made either in post office or Indian banks.
