TNT used in Israeli car bombing: CFSL

The Central Forensic Sciences Laboratory (CFSL) has mentioned in its report that an explosive material named Trinitrotoluene (TNT) was used by terrorists in the February 13 attack on an Israeli embassy car in New Delhi.

According to reports on Sunday, CFSL members recently sent their report on the bombing incident to the Delhi Police and stated their opinion on the explosive used by the attackers.

The attack occurred around 3 pm on Feb 13 near the 7 Race Course Road residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh when, officials said, a biker apparently followed the car and then stuck something magnetic on the vehicle causing the explosion.

A diplomat´s wife was seriously injured in the bombing along with others.
