Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh on Friday said the agenda of the regional Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is to provoke.
"The agenda of the TRS is an agenda of provocation. They know no language other than the language of provocation," said Ramesh.
The minister said a Congress Party government in Telangana is necessary for the development of the rest of Andhra Pradesh.
"The first requirement is a Congress Government in Telangana. Any other government in Telangana will blackmail, will extort, will provoke, create new disputes. It is only the Congress that will ensure that both states live peacefully together," he added.
Simultaneous elections to Lok Sabha and undivided Andhra Pradesh assembly will be held in Telangana on April 30 and on May 7 in Seemandhra. (ANI)
