Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today asked the BJP MPs of the state to serve people better in their constituencies and try to keep direct communication with them.
"BJP has got overwhelming victory in Vidhan Sabha, Lok Sabha, Panchayat and Civic Bodies elections, and after the historic success, we all need to owe obligation to serve people and make New Rajasthan," Raje said while inaugurating a two-day 'Prantiya Sansand' (state MPs) meeting here.
"For us the BJP party and public are the foremost and we have to keep direct communication with them and participate in their +dukh-dard+ (sorrow and pain), so that they give you again a chance to win," she said.
There should be a better coordination among all elected representatives; MPs to MLAs to Panchayts to Civic bodies, she said, adding that this balance would take the government's plan of development to root level in villages.
Elected representatives should also keep contact with party workers and visionary people, and use their funds for public welfare equally, she said.
"There is no need to be scared of criticism, but learn from them and try to bring improvement in working along with common man," she further said.
"You all should be aware of the state and central governments' schemes like skill development, adarsh school, govt at your door step, annapurna bhandar, and new acts brought out by the state government," she said.
BJP's National co-organisational secretary V Satish said, "we are all party workers and it is our responsibility to take party and governments forward with good work and image".
