Two men stabbed to death over property in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 14 (IANS) Two men were stabbed to death and a woman was injured over a property dispute here Friday evening, police said. One of the two accused has been arrested.

Police received a call around 4 p.m. from Swarna Jayanti Vihar in north Delhi about the incident.

"Three people, including a woman, were injured. They were rushed to Raja Harish Chander Hospital where two men were declared dead on arrival," Deputy Commissioner of Police B.S. Jaiswal told IANS.

The dead men were property dealer Shamshul Hasan, 48, and Kamaluddin, 45, while Shahjahan is critical in the hospital, Jaiswal said.

An eyewitness told police the incident took place after Shahjahan, Shamshul and Kamaluddin started quarrelling with Akmal over a plot of land.

Akmal then stabbed Shahjahan, Shamshul and Kamaluddin, police said.
