ULFA woman leader dies in Myanmar

Guwahati, Feb 7 (IBNS) A top women leader of anti-talk faction group of United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) died at an undisclosed area in Myanmar on Feb 6.

In a press statement, the outfit group said that, Rashmita Asom alias Jahnabi Mahanta Rajkonwar died in natural accident.

A top source of the outfit group said that, Rashmita died hen she was drawn in Kolong river near Hensang area in Myanmar on Feb 6.

ULFA declared three days´ mourning in Rashmita's death in their all camps from Feb 6.



A writer and teacher Jahnabi Mahanta Rajkonwar had joined ULFA in Feb 12, 2012.
