Lakhmipur: Former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh on Sunday said his Rashtriya Jan Kranti Party would provide interest-free loans to farmers if it was voted to power in Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing an election rally here, he also promised reservation for unemployed youths and unveiling of a free crop-insurance scheme in the event of his party forming government in the state.
On corruption, Kalyan said "only those who have a clean hand can claim to curb graft."
He alleged the Congress, the BJP, the BSP and the SP had all indulged in corrupt practices.
Referring to the 2G spectrum issue, Kalyan said how the Congress could claim to root out corruption when it could not check this scam.
Attacking the BJP, he said one of its Chief Ministers had to quit and, therefore, it could not claim to be a clean party.
On SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav promising unemployment allowance, Kalyan said youths need employment and not paltry sums.
Slamming the BSP, he said its government was interested in stones and parks and not in the welfare of farmers.
