UPSC Declared Result for Combined Defence Services (I) Exam, 2012, for Officer Training Academy

Press Information Bureau released the merit list containing Names and Roll numbers of the 339 candidates who have been declared qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2012 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission and interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai for 97th Short Service Commission Course (273 posts for Men); and to the 11th Short Service Commission Non‐Technical Course (66 posts for Women), commencing in April, 2013.

The list of 97th Short Service Commission Course (for Men) also includes the names of the candidates who were recommended earlier on the basis of the result of the same examination for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre‐Flying) Training Course.

The candidature of all the candidates is Provisional and subject to verification of Date of Birth and Educational Qualification of the candidates by the AHQ.

Result of Medical Examination of candidates has not been taken into account in preparing the merit list.

Marks of the candidates will be available within 15 days from the date of declaration of final result on the UPSC website for 60 days.

UPSC has a Facilitation Counter near Examination Hall Building in its Campus. Candidates can obtain any information / clarification regarding their examination on all working days between 10.00 AM and 5.00 PM, in person or over telephone No. 011‐23385271, 011‐23381125 and 011‐23098543.
