A Connecticut photographer is on a mission to meet and take pictures of all 788 of his closest Facebook friends.
Ty Morin, who has already raised nearly 7,500 dollars for his film-photo series "Friend Request: Accepted" with the help of a Kickstarter campaign, has planned to the travel around the world to take a picture of each of his social networking site friends doing something he or she is passionate about and will be filming his journey, the New York Post reported.
On his Kickstarter page, Morin admitted that he has taken this activity as he hasn't spoken to half of the people he is friends with no the site.
"Don't you think cutting out all those friends would defeat the purpose of this project?" Morin wrote.
"The goal of this project is to reconnect with people," he added.
Morin also stated on his page that he plans to spend time with each person, with every portrait taking about an hour.
Morin, who plans on completing five per week, said he plans to use an old-fashion 8x10 camera instead of snapping a quick picture using a digital camera and moving on to the next person.
Morin also said that at his planned speed his ambitious project will take about three years to complete.
