Varun Gandhi: Car for President or Batman?

New Delhi, Oct 6 (IBNS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Varun Gandhi took potshots at Indian President Pratibha Patil for travelling in a Rs 6-crore armoured Mercedes car.

"Colossal extravagance of spending 6CR on President´s car laughable, if not tragic, at a time when aam aadmi expected to live on Rs 32 a day," tweeted Gandhi.

He said the car would have suited superhero Batman than President of India.

"Car can run on flat tyres, has self-sealing fuel tank. Fire extinguishing system is bomb proof.. Is this for Pratibha Patil or Batman?" Gandhi posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
