Vice President greets on Makara Sankranti, Pongal

New Delhi, Jan 13 (IBNS) Vice President of India M. Hamid Ansari has greeted the people of our country on the occasion of Makara Sankranti and Pongal.

In his message he has said that these festivals are celebrated in various parts of the country with traditional fervour and gaiety and mark the beginning of 'Uttarayana' and harvest season.
