, Feb.5 (ANI): Over the past few years, Naxals have killed many tribals in Jharkhand.

In 2008, they entered Koira village in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum District and gunned down Supol Singh, a vegetable vendor, as they suspected him of being a police informer.

But this wasn't enough for the Maoists. In 2009 they attacked Supol's house again and killed his younger brother Amar singh for a similar reason.

The family is still in a state of shock

Pusbati Singh, Supol Singh's daughter, said: "The Naxals killed my father and uncle. First, they killed my father, Supol Singh. They abducted him on June 17, 2008 at around 10 p.m., and killed him. We found his body in a severely tortured state the next day."

Supol Singh and Amar Singh were the main bread earners of their families.

Since their deaths, their families are living in abject poverty.

"I am working in the fields to support my family which consists of eight members," said Pusbati.

The Maoists claim to be fighting for the poor, but the fact is that they are killing the poor and innocent people, and making their lives even more difficult. (ANI)
