West Bengal: 8 infants die in 24 hours

Malda, West Bengal, Jan 18 (IBNS): At least eight infants died in West Bengal's Malda Medical College in the past 24 hours due to alleged medical negligence.

The infants were allegedly not given proper medicines, media reports said on Wednesday.

They were reportedly admitted in critical condition at the hospital.

Several infants died in various hospitals in West Bengal including Kolkata´s BC Roy Hospital over the past couple of months.
