Guwahati: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare will start a nationwide campaign against corruption from Nov 30, he said in Guwahati on Wednesday.
"I will start a nation wide movement against corruption from November 30 and will form a core committee," Hazare said.
"Jan Lokpal Bill will must be introduced before the next general election," Hazare said.
Hazare along with former Army chief V K Singh had arrived in Guwahati on Wednesday to participate in a two-day convention on the influx issue organized by Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS).
The self-styled Gandhian activist will address the convention on Nov 8 to tackle the illegal immigration from Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Akhil Gogoi, KMSS leader said that, illegal immigration has now become a major problem for the country, specially in the northeastern region.
"Assam has become now become a safe haven for illegal Bangladeshis," the KMSS leader said.
Recently, the Assam state government had published a whitepaper on the influx issue.
