World T20: Australia thrash India by 9 wickets

Colombo, Sep 28 (IANS) Australia crushed India by nine wickets in a Group 2 encounter in the Super Eight stage of the World Twenty20 Championship at the R. Premadasa Stadium here Friday.

Shane Watson starred with the bat as well as the ball, taking three wickets and scoring 72 off 42 balls as Australia chased down India's score of 140 for seven with 31 balls to spare.
