Youth Congress protests joblessness in Tripura

Agartala, Feb 15 (IANS) Over 40,000 activists and leaders of the Youth Congress Wednesday courted arrest against unemployment and crime against women in Left-ruled Tripura, a protest leader said.

The arrested workers were later let off.

Some portions of the Assam-Agartala highway were closed till afternoon because of the demonstration, causing hardships to people.
