Yesteryear's beauty icon Zeenat Aman Thursday heaved lavish praise on the dressing sense of former Miss World and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra.
Aman, who walked the ramp as the showstopper for Riyaz Gangji collection at the ongoing India Resort Fashion Week (IRFW) this evening, said Chopra has a 'rockstar look'.
"I like the way Priyanka Chopra dresses. She has got the rockstar look which she manages to carry off really well," Aman said while responding to a question on who among the present actresses dress well.
Chopra's recently launched international debut album 'In My City' has become popular worldwide and highly appreciated by everyone.
The veteran actress looked resplendent in a gold and pink ensemble with lots of shimmer and glitter. Titled Shimmering Sands, Riyaz's collection included embroidered sarees, kurtas, linen pants, jackets and more.
Commenting on the designer's collection for whom she has already walked the ramp at Aamby Valley Indian Bridal Week, Aman believes he designs clothes keeping in mind various age groups.
"Girls of all ages want to look pretty and Riyaz has models of different age groups walking for him. I started off my career as a model, so I am more than happy to do it here at IRFW. Riyaz is a lovely designer and a nice person. I'm really happy to be here for him," she said.
Asked about her personal style statement, a pat reply was, "I believe that you have to be comfortable with anything you wear. When you are comfortable you can carry off anything. If you are uncomfortable then your mind just keeps wandering all over."
Now set to make a comeback on silver screen, Aman has all praises for the IRFW happening on Candolim beach.
"It is such a wonderful event. It gives a big exposure for all the fashion people. It also gives me an opportunity to come to Goa," she said.
