Update: Vijaya Bank has announced the list of shortlisted candidates to be called for interview to recruit 800 clerks.
The Bank had invited 4697 candidates to apply for its 800 clerk vacancies.
Interviews will be held from 5 to 10 November 2012 at various locations.

Earlier: Vijaya Bank, one of the fast growing public sector banks, with head office at Bangalore, invites applications from young, dynamic candidates who have qualified in the Common Written Examination (CWE) for clerk conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in the year 2011 and holding the valid score issued by IBPS.

Vijaya Bank will recruit 800 members for the post of probationary clerk.
Eligibility
The minimum age limit should be 18 years to 28 years as 01.08.2011. Candidates should have passed with 60% marks in the aggregate of SSLC/10th examination OR have a pass with 50% marks in aggregate of HSC examination OR degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

Selection process
The selection procedure will be based on the marks scored in CWE examination conducted by IBPS and marks scored in the written test of Vijaya bank. The shortlisted candidates decided by the bank will be called for an interview.
Mode of submitting application form
Before logging into the bank's website, candidates have to make payment of application fee. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the application fee is Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty only). For all others including OBC/XSM candidates, the application fee is Rs.100/- (Rupees Hundred only). Payment of fee made by Demand Draft/Cheque/Money Orders/Postal Orders will be accepted. Any other mode of payment will not be accepted.
