Introduction on Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is the familiar professional company in India which is developing and motivating the professionals for company secretaries in India. The ICSI gives the certificate to best professionals for Company secretary who will be qualified for the membership of Institute. AT 1960 Company Law board started a Company Secretary Course to award Government diploma in Company Secretaryship. As the number of applying students gets grew, they decided to take the Company Secretaryship examination. The ICSI has its headquarters at New Delhi and having four regional offices at New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai. The membership awarded by the ICSI will be useful for getting various superior posts and services under Central government. The ICSI associations are managed by a council consisting of fifteen elected members and five nominees of the central government. The Company Secretary is mostly involved in corporate sector.
About their Examination
ICSI examination is very useful for getting placement in Central government jobs. Candidates who are all appearing for the ICSI examination should read the Instruction to examinees which is printed on the admission certificate, question papers and answer books. Candidates should check their details in the admission certificate after taking the print-out. Candidates need to bring their admission certificate and student identity card while coming to the examination hall. The result of the examination will be printed on the icsi.sifyitest.com website. ICSI offers merit-cum-means assistance scheme to help financially to the needy candidates to practice the company secretaryship course. The year wise list of award winners and toppers will be placed in ICSI websites.
How to apply
Students have to apply online through the ICSI-Sifyitest website. Any other mode of application will not be accepted. Students have to give their personal and valid e-mail id and it should be kept active until the result of examination. This e-mail ID is very helpful to contact you by the testing and commission agency.
Students have to fill the payment challan in the online application form, and payment can be made either debit/credit card or online mode of payment. After that fill the details in the online application form and click submit button. Now candidates should save registration number and password for future references. The payment of fees is valid for 45 days for the date of payment made and candidates can make 2 attempts within 45 days.
Students have to pay the fees either in online or offline. The examination charge is Rs.440/- (Rupees four hundred and forty five only) and the bank charges if applicable. The offline mode of payment details are,
