Earlier: Indian Overseas Bank invites online applications from Indian Citizens for recruitment of various Specialist Officer positions.

The Bank will recruit 387 Specialist Officers as Agricultural Field Officers, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officers and HR/Personnel Officer.
Minimum Age Limit/Experience and Qualification
Candidates should meet the educational requirements as specified in the Bank's advertisement and be within the age range of 21-40 years. Candidates should have appeared in the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Recruitment of Specialist Officers
conducted by IBPS on 11.03.2012. Cut-off marks for the tests including Test on Reasoning, Test on English Language, Test of General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry/ Test of Quantitative Aptitude and Test on Professional Knowledge is 24 and above for the general category and 21 and above for the reserved category.
Selection Process
Based on the IBPS score, the Bank will call candidates for interview. The Interview will carry 50 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the Interview will be 22.50 marks for General Category and 20.00 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PC Candidates.
Mode of Submitting Application Form
Candidates are required to apply only online through the Bank's website www.iob.in. Candidates must have a valid personal e-mail ID while applying. Before applying online, they are required to take a print out of blank Payment Receipt/Challan from the website and pay the application fee/Intimation Charge at any Branch of Indian Overseas Bank.
