The Punjab National Bank has announced the results of the tests conducted to recruit Specialist Officers (IT) & Officer (Hindi) 2012.

Candidates have been selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination and personality test.

Earlier: Punjab National Bank is a well known nationalized public sector bank in India, started in 1894.

Name & No. of posts

Punjab National Bank will recruit 740 members for the post of senior manager (law), manager (credit), manager (security), officer (librarian), fire officers, officer (printing technologist), officer (data analyst), officer (IT), officer (HRD) and Hindi officers.

Eligibility

The age limit, qualification and experience for these posts as on 01.07.2012 is:

Senior Manager (Law)
Age: 21 years to 30 years
Educational qualification: 1st class in LLB with a minimum of 60% marks.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years.

Manager (Credit)
Age: 21 years to 30 years
Educational qualification: MBA / PGDM with min. 75% marks.
Experience: No need

Manager (Security)
Age: Max 32 years
Educational qualification: Graduate from any University recognized by Government of India.
Experience: 5 years in Army/Navy/Air Force or 5 years as a Police Officer.

Officer (Librarian)
Age: 21 years to 28 years
Educational qualification: Graduate in Library science with a minimum of 60% marks.
Experience: No need

Fire Officer
Age: Min 25 years to 40 years.
Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree from a University recognized by Government of India
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' work experience as fire safety officer.

Officer (Printing Technologist)
Age: Min 21 years to Max 30 years
Educational qualification: Diploma in Printing Technology / Bachelors degree from recognized University of Indian Govt.
Experience: No need

Officer (Data Analyst)
Age: Min. 21 Yrs Max.28 Yrs
Educational qualification: Bachelors degree from the university recognized by Govt. of India & PG Program (02 years) in Banking & Finance.
Experience: Preferably 02 year working knowledge of econometric techniques.

Officer (IT)
Age: Min. 21 Yrs Max.28 Yrs
Educational qualification: B.E./ B. Tech. Degree in the field of Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Computer Science & Engineering/ Computing/IT/ Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering from the university recognized by the Govt. or MCA.
Experience: Valid IBPS Score Card.

Officer (HRD)
Age: Min. 21 Yrs Max.28 Yrs
Educational qualification: Bachelors degree with a Masters Degree OR PG degree/diploma (02 years) in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/ Labour Laws/ Labour Welfare/ Social Work.  
Experience: Valid IBPS Score Card.

Hindi Officers
Age: Min-21 Yrs Max-30 Yrs
Educational qualification: Post Graduate degree in Hindi/ Sanskrit with English as a subject  
Experience: Valid IBPS Score Card

Candidates should log onto the website www.pnbindia.in-Link->Recruitment. The candidates must apply online only. No other mode is permitted.

Selection process

The selection process will be on the basis of a written test followed by a personal interview. The written test will be conducted either online or offline.

Mode of submitting application form

The details of application fee is,
For post code 01 – 07:
SC/ST/PC category: Rs 50/- per candidate
General/OBC/EXSM: Rs 400/- per candidate
For post code 08 – 10:
SC/ST/PC category: Rs 20/- per candidate
General/OBC/EXSM: Rs 100/- per candidate

After payment made candidates are required to apply online through bank's website

Closing date for online registration: 17.08.2012
Tentative date of written examination: 14.10.2012
Downloading of call letters for written test: 01.10.2012
