Punjab and Sind Bank has declared the list of candidates selected for the post of Probationary Officers.

Earlier: Punjab & Sind Bank invites applications for the post of Probationary Officers from Indian citizens who have got a valid score card in the Common Written Examination by IBPS in 2011.



Name & No of posts

PSB bank will recruit 900 candidates for the post of Probationary Officers in the year of 2012-13.

Eligibility

The age limit to apply for this post must be 21 years to 30 years as on 01.07.2011. The candidates must be graduates in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in aggregate from a University recognized by Government of India. Candidates should have a valid score card of CWE issued by IBPS in 2011. Preference will be given to candidates with computer knowledge.

How to apply

Candidates are required to apply online through the website www.psbindia.com. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.

Selection procedure

Selection for the post of 'Probationary Officer' will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011/Supplementary written examination on November 2011 and Interview.  

Mode of application

Candidates are required to apply online through the website. SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) for examination fees. For all other candidates the examination fee is Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only).

Opening date for online registration: 24.04.2012
Last date for online registration: 10.05.2012

Important instructions

Candidates should have a valid score card of CWE issued by IBPS in 2011 and are required to give a valid mail ID/mobile number. The bank will contact you through this mail ID/mobile number.
