SBI PO 2014: Admit cards to be declared on May 30th!

SBI Recently announced that the admit cards for the Probationary Officers Examination will be available for download from May 30th. The written exam is to be held on June 14th (tentatively).


The written examination consists of 4 sections with 50 questions from each section:

  1. Reasoning

  2. English

  3. Data Interpretation and Analysis

  4. General Awareness, Marketing & Computers.


There are 1,897 vacancies. Out of the 1,897 posts, 758 are for general category candidates, 405 are for OBC candidates, 235 are for SC category candidates, 439 seats for ST category candidates and 29 and 31 seats for VH category and OH category candidates respectively.


There will be two phases in the selection process and the candidates will be selected based on their performances in both the phases. The first phase consists of an objective test and a descriptive test whereas the second phase will be a group discussion and an interview.


Candidates who qualify for the Pre-Examination training can download the call letter for the same from the Official Website of Bank, www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in by entering their valid Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.
