TNPSC Cost Assistant Recruitment 2012

TNPSC is going to recruit candidates for the post of cost assistant in Tamil Nadu ministerial service.

Name & No of posts

TNPSC will recruit 2 candidates for the post of cost assistant in Tamil Nadu ministerial service in the year of 2012.

Minimum age limit, Qualification & experience

The minimum age limit for SC/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BCM and DWs of all castes candidates must be 18 years and no consideration will be made in maximum age limit. For other candidates the age limit should be between 18 years and 35 years as on 01.07.2012.


The candidates should be qualified in a degree of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant or a pass in intermediate examination of the Institute of cost and works accountants of India, Calcutta or of the cost and works accountants Institute, London.

Candidates should be experienced in costing in a government department or in a statutory board constituted by the state government or in a government undertaking or corporation or in an establishment or Industrial concern (Registered under the Factories Act), manufacturing Industrial products involving costing and cost accounting, for a period of not less than one year.

Candidates should apply through online mode in the Commission's website www.tnpsc.gov.in or in www.tnpscexams.net.

Selection process

Selection will be made in two successive stages - Written Examination and Oral Test

Mode of submitting Application form

Candidates can apply online in the Commission's Website www.tnpsc.gov.in or in www.tnpscexams.net. Candidates need to pay Rs.150/- (Rupees One hundred and fifty only) as examination fees. Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) towards application cost. Candidates can pay either in online/offline modes. The offline payment should be completed within two days of online application.

Last date for submission of applications: 13.07.2012
Last date for payment of fee through bank or post office: 17.07.2012
Date of Written Examination: 26.08.2012
