Earlier: TNPSC is inviting online application for the post of motor vehicle inspector under Tamil Nadu transport subordinate service.

TNPSC will recruit 17 candidates for the post of motor vehicle inspector under Tamil Nadu Transport Subordinate service.
Eligibility
For SC/ST/MBC/BC/DC/BCM and DW of all caste candidates, the minimum age limit should be 21 years and there is no consideration for maximum age limit. For other candidates the age limit should be between 21 years and 32 years as on 01.07.2012. Candidates should have a minimum of general educational qualification and any one of the following qualifications (3 years course) awarded by the State Board of technical education and training, Tamil Nadu.
A Diploma in automobile Engineering
A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Candidates should have work experience of not less than one year both on vehicles fitted with Petrol Engines and vehicles fitted with diesel engines on a full time basis in an automobile workshop. And candidates must hold a Driving License authorizing drive motor cycle, heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger motor vehicles and must have experience in driving heavy transport vehicles for a period of not less than six months.

Selection will be made in two successive stages - Written Examination and Oral test

Candidates should apply only through online in the commission's website www.tnpsc.gov.in or in www.tnpscexams.net. Candidates have to pay Rs.150/- (Rupees one hundred and fifty only) for examination fees. Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) towards application cost. Candidates can choose either online or offline mode of payment to pay examination fees.

Date of written examination: 26.08.2012
Important instructions
