TNPSC Recruitment 2012: Posts included in Group I services

​TNPSC invites applications for various kinds of posts in the year of 2012. Applications are invited through online mode until 24.12.2012.

Name & no of posts

TNPSC will recruit 25 candidates for the following posts:

Deputy Collector – 8 vacancies

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category – I)  - 4 vacancies

Assistant Commissioner  (C.T.) – 7 vacancies

District Registrar – 1 vacancy

District Employment Officer – 5 vacancies



Eligibility

For all posts, candidates should have completed 21 years and maximum age for SC/ST/MBC/BC/DC/BCM/DW candidates should be 35 years and for other candidates the maximum age limit should be 30 years as on 01.07.2012. The educational qualification must be degree of universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature.

Candidates should apply only through online in the commission's website www.tnpsc.gov.in or in www.tnpscexams.net.

Selection procedure

The selection will be made in three successive stages, via
(i) Preliminary examination for selection of candidates for admission to the main written examination and
(ii) Main written examination and
(iii) Oral Test in the shape of an Interview.

Mode of submitting application form

Candidates are required to apply online by commission's website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net.  Candidates need to pay Rs.125/- (Rupees one hundred and twenty five only) for preliminary examination fees. For main written examination, selected candidates need to pay Rs.125/- (Rupees one hundred and twenty five only). The payment can be made either in online or in offline modes.

Date of notification: 16.11.2012
Last date for submission of applications: 07.01.2013
Last date for payment of Fee through Bank or Post Office: 10.12.2012
Date of written exam will be conducted: 27.01.2013

Important instructions

Candidates are required to provide a valid e-mail ID while registration. This should be kept active until the declaration of results.
