UPSC Combined Defence Service Examination 2013

UPSC will conduct combined defence service examination to select candidates for the various kinds of posts; it will be conducted on 17.02.2013.


Name & no of posts

UPSC will recruit 509 candidates for the following fields,

Indian Military Academy – 250 candidates

Indian Naval Academy – 40 candidates

Air Force Academy – 32 candidates

Officers Training Academy – 175 candidates

Officers Training Academy – 12 candidates

Eligibility

For Indian Military Academy – Unmarried male candidates born between 02.01.1990 to 01.01.1995.
For Indian Naval Academy - Unmarried male candidates born between 02.01.1992 to 01.01.1995.
For air Force Academy – Unmarried male candidates born between 02.01.1991 to 01.01.1995.
For Officers Training Academy - Male candidates born between 02.01.1989 to 01.01.1995.
For Officers Training Academy - Unmarried Women, issueless widows and issueless divorcees born between 02.01.1989 to 01.01.1995.

Candidates are required to apply online only, by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in.

The selection procedure is based on two stages,

Psychological Aptitude Test

Intelligence Test

Candidates are required to apply online only, by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in. Candidates are need to pay Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) for examination fees. Female candidates and candidates belong to SC/ST are not needed to pay examination fees. The payment should be made though SBI branches.

Important instructions

Candidates are required to give their own and valid e-mail ID and mobile number while registration. It will be kept active until the declaration of results.
