UPSC Exam 2013

​Union Public Service Commission is the India’s central agency which will conduct services examination for the department of civil, engineering, combined defence, national defence academy, combined medical services and naval academy. Recently, UPSC invites application for the various kinds of post in the year of 2013. The post details are mentioned below of this article.

UPSC EXAM PATTERN

Probably, UPSC will change the exam pattern in the year of 2013. The exam pattern of UPSC in the last year is,



1. Preliminary exam
2. Main exam
3. Personal interview

Preliminary exam will consist of 2 examinations which is objective type. Each test will be conducted for 200 marks with 2 hours each. The questions will be asked in general studies. Main exam and personal interview will be based on the respective department.

UPSC EXAM SYLLABUS

UPSC exam syllabus will be based on the following patterns,

- Current events of national importance
- Indian culture & history
- Geography of India
- Indian economy
- General science
- Indian polity and international relations
- Essay
- Indian language
- Personal interview

This syllabus will be changed by the subject wise interview. Candidates need to read English newspapers and update their knowledge about the above mentioned topics. It will be very useful to write the UPSC examinations.
