With India’s drubbing at the hands of England in the recently-concluded away series fresh in mind, Team India will be itching to accord the same treatment to the visiting English team when they take on the latter in the 5-match ODI series at home.
While Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been the most successful Indian captain so far, his plummeting fortunes as a captain have been a worrisome factor of late. He steered Team India to scale new heights after the team became No. 1 in Test cricket; and with World Cup victory it was like icing on the cake.
