Alex Gerrard shows off her WAG style in stylish sportswear

Steven Gerrard's wife Alex proved sportswear can be stylish as she stepped out in Liverpool on Valentine's Day.

Adding a Valentine's theme to her stylish gear, the WAG toasted the romantic day with a pretty pink top and matching trainers.

The 30-year-old teamed her cute top and trainers with a simple grey vest and a pair of form-fitting black Lycra leggings.

Alex added a touch of WAG glamour to her ensemble with the addition of a monochrome Hermes handbag, oversized sunglasses and a snuggly grey snood as she stepped out in the sunshine.

After heading to the gym, Alex toasted Valentine's Day by enjoying a spot of luncheon at Liverpool's Neighbourhood Cafe with a group of friends, the Daily Mail reported.

The star is currently on her own with she and Steven's three daughters, Lilly-Ella, eight, Lexie, six, and Lourdes, 15 months, with the striker in Russia ahead of Liverpool's Europa League match against Zenit St Petersburg on Thursday night.

But in spite of having a lonely Valentine's Day, Alex seemed to be in good spirits.
