Paris Saint German midfielder David Beckham has admitted he missed playing in the big European games after spending five years in America's Major League Soccer club, LA Galaxy.
Beckham, who made his first start for the French club during their 2-0 win over Marseille, expressed his joy at the prospect of playing big games in Europe, the Daily Star reports.
Despite a few signs of rustiness, the former England skipper was praised by boss Carlo Ancelotti for his 85-minute appearance, and Beckham is now aiming to hold on to his starting place for PSG's Champions League clash with Valencia next week, revealing he has missed the buzz of big European nights.
Beckham said he played in some big games in the USA but you always miss being involved in big games like this in Europe, adding it is a while since he played in the Champions League so he is excited.
The star footballer added it is a big game for the club but it doesn't mean that it will be easy. (ANI)
