British rapper Devlin, who is a childhood Tottenham Hotspurs fan, has said he feels sorry for striker Jermain Defoe, who is also his favourite player, since he hasn't got enough chance to play regularly until this season.
Devlin said Defoe has scored goals and been loyal to Spurs, but he doesn't think the England international has had the chance he really deserves until this season.
Devlin added that he feels a bit sorry for Defoe, but believes there must have been a bit of a fall-out behind the scenes, the Sun reports.
The hip hop star added that former manager Harry Redknapp didn't play him even in the season when they finished fourth and despite the forward scoring 24 goals, he was on the bench a lot of the time.
Devlin said it is nice to see Defoe playing regularly under Villas-Boas. (ANI)
