Formula One star Jenson Button has said that he never would like to become a team principal because of the stress that comes with the job, adding that he does not see himself being a team leader in the future.
According to metro.co.uk, Button expressed that his hero Alain Prost started a team in the late nineties and it did not work out for him.
It is anticipated Button will soon put pen to paper on a new contract with McLaren, a team he joined in 2010 after winning the world title with Brawn GP the year before, the report said.
McLaren have an option on Button's deal for next season, and although it has yet to be signed off by team principal Martin Whitmarsh, it is understood it will be a formality, the report added.
Button, however, is hoping for a contract that will take him beyond next year and into a new era with the Woking-based marque when Honda will again power them from 2015, the report further said. (ANI)
