LONDON: Argentinian footballer Carlos Tevez will be leaving Manchester City in a major summer clear-out from the Premier League club.
Tevez, who is hoping for a return to South America, will be leaving Manchester City after the completion of his current contract at the club, which will be moving into its final year, the Mirror reports.
The striker would be joining players Edin Dzeko, Samir Nasri, Joleon Lescott, Scott Sinclair, Aleksandar Kolarov and Maicon in the clear-out from Manchester City, the paper added.
Dzeko and Nasri have not justified their huge transfer fees or wages, while there are no plans to offer Lescott a new contract as he enters the final 12 months of his current deal.
Roberto Mancini is already working with chief executive Ferran Soriano and director of football Txiki Begiristain on plans to rebuild the City squad.
