Celebrating 20 years of Sachin Tendulkar

As Sachin Tendulkar completes 20 years of international cricket on November 15, one's mind is inevitably a blur of memories.

It was as a prodigiously gifted 16-year-old that he made his Test debut against Pakistan at Karachi.

And no, it was not a dream start.

He did not get a century in his first Test innings; in fact it was not even a half century.

For the record, he made 15 before being bowled by another debutant Waqar Younis.

The following month, he made his ODI debut and was dismissed by Waqar Younis for a duck.
