Pakistan cricket player Shahid Afridi raised a storm this week after he was caught chewing on a ball in the fifth and final ODI against Australia. We follow the reactions of Afridi himself, and of other cricketers, to this controversy:
"No I just was trying to smell the ball, [to see] how it was feeling."
"There is no team in the world that doesn't tamper with the ball. My methods were wrong. I am embarrassed, I shouldn't have done it. I just wanted to win us a game but this was the wrong way to do it."
