Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said is happy with the way team's season has progressed so far after their 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday, and added they are just halfway to regaining the Premier League title.
Ferguson admitted he had been demonstrative on Boxing Day as he took referee Mike Dean to task over Newcastle United's controversial second goal, but there was nothing to make the veteran Scot angry on Saturday as the leaders chalked up a comfortable win.
The win means United maintain their seven-point lead over rivals Manchester City going into the final game of their hectic festive period at Wigan Athletic on Tuesday, the Sun reports.
After the match Ferguson said United is in a good position currently and almost halfway to win their 20th English title.
Ferguson said he is looking forward to the game against Wigan Athletic on Tuesday, and added that he is more than happy with the players he has in his squad, adding the current group is as good as any he has had ever at Old Trafford. (ANI)
