Harbhajan Singh must be licking his lips at the thought of playing the Deccan Chargers again. The last time the Mumbai Indians faced them, Bhaji smashed 49 off 18 balls to lift Mumbai to 172 for seven. Then, he opened the bowling and had Adam Gilchrist caught out for a duck. Harbhajan finished with three wickets for 31 runs. He inspired his team to a 41 run win and saw them go back to the top of the log.
The fortunes of those two teams who contested a day we shall call "Bhaji day" from here on have been contrasting. They've both only played one match and while the Indians have cemented their place at the top of the log, the Chargers have slumped to second last and have reached the point of last chance saloon if they hope to make the final four.
