A performance of great maturity from Formula One`s youngest champion, winner of seven races and 15 podiums in 19 races. Came from 13th to third in Australia, held off Michael Schumacher to win at Imola and twice overtook the Ferrari driver in Japan on his way to third place from 16th on the grid. Made only one big mistake, when he hit the wall in Canada.
