With the dismissal of Nathan Lyon who was the last man out for Australia, India now needs only 50 runs to defeat the tourists in the first Test against Chennai.

Praising the Indian team and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Oz captain Michael Clarke said that the team, especially Dhoni, played outstandingly and completely changed the game with the innings.

Stressing on the need to put in more hard work in the nets for the second Test in Hyderabad, Clarke said that although Moises Henriques' debut looked positive, the Australian team got outplayed because of problems with the pitch.

Dhoni, who has received the Man of the Match award, said that it was important to play some eye-catching shots to please the Indian crowd and added that it is good to see that people still throng Test matches in India.

Adding that he had to play the shots in an attempt to spread the field, Dhoni said that there was a risk of ending innings if the match had extra catching fielders.

Praising bowler R. Ashwin, Dhoni said that he had bowled brilliantly and although he was supported by veteran Harbhajan Singh in the second innings, he had stuck with his off spinners and was willing to bowl in a single area. (ANI)
