Ken MacLeay (Australia): 6-39 at Nottingham, 1983
In the league game of the 1983 World Cup in England, India lost to Australia. The Australians piled up a huge total of 320. India`s run chase became difficult due to persistent drizzle, bad light and stoppages. In ideal conditions, Ken MacLeay bowled superbly and broke the Indian middle-order by claiming the wickets of Dilip Vengsarkar(in pic), Sandeep Patil and Yashpal Sharma to finish with six for 39 off 11.5 overs – three of which were maiden overs.
