Is New Zealand India's toughest Test rival?

McCullum ton takes Kiwis to 237/4 at stumps
Every country has a team it struggles to beat and a team it beats easily. For Steve Waugh, India was the Final Frontier and remained unconquered. While Waugh got the better of all his rival captains, with Sourav Ganguly, he lagged 2-3.

So which team has India struggled to beat in the recent past?

This decade has been India's greatest in terms of Test victories. From 1932 to 1999, India won 61 Test matches. That's less than one a year!

But from 2000 onwards, we have won a whopping 46 matches. It is interesting to note that most of our victories have come against the team that has dominated this era: Australia.

We have an impressive 9 wins against them.
