Dhonis success, got nothing, Luck
If there's one thing I'm sick and tired of hearing, it's how lucky Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is. He has come out with success after success and it has all been attributed to luck. It's as if India would have produced exactly the same results, had anyone else been captain.

He's won a World Cup. He's won an Asia Cup. He's won half-a-dozen ODI bilateral series. He's captained 18 Tests without losing a series. In fact, I remember an Indian captain used to struggle to have a Test win-loss ratio of even 1 (1 win for every 1 loss) and Dhoni's ratio stands at 6! (12 Test wins versus 2 losses)

In the pre-Dhoni era, India was stuck at No. 3 as its highest ICC rankings in all forms of the game. We jumped to No.2 immediately after Dhoni took charge and soon we were No. 1 in all forms of the game.

Dhoni is the only Indian captain to have won the IPL and he followed it by winning the Champions Trophy to boot! I remember everyone saying that Chennai Super Kings was not among the stronger teams in the IPL. So how did that happen?
