Austin Waugh, the teenage son of Australian great Steve Waugh, was spotted enjoying a net session at the SCG on Wednesday, as he received throw-downs from his famous father.
A hopeful Waugh said maybe Austin might be pushing for an Australian Test spot in six or seven years time, News.com.au reports.
Waugh added Austin likes to and has already bought his own kit, adding he wanted to give his son the best possible practice, so he brought him to the SCG nets.
The younger Waugh has qualified for the Under-13 Sutherland representative team and has been involved in NSW development sides.
Austin has also been coached by Sydney Sixers' assistant Corey Richards, because "he no longer listens to the old man". (ANI)
