Bangalore Royal Challengers recorded a rollicking start to their IPL II campaign as they defeated defending champions Rajasthan Royals by 75 runs.

Batting first, Bangalore posted 133 for 8 after Rahul Dravid (66) and Kevin Pietersen (32) starred with the bat. In reply Rajasthan were all out for 58.
