Path to T20 World Cup Final: Sri Lanka

A captain's innings by Kumar Sangakkara (55 not out) and Tillakaratne Dilshan's quickfire 53 knocked Australia out of the ICC World Twenty20 following their six-wicket defeat to Sri Lanka.

Dilshan and Sangakkara added 62 off 42 balls to set the tone for Sri Lanka's entry to the Super Eight stage after Ajantha Mendis (3/20) and Lasith Malinga (3/36) restricted Australia to 159 for nine after they were invited to bat.
